Preston turned 3 and he had a “Speed Racer” themed pool party in his backyard. He was SO exuberant the entire time and was absolutely a joy to watch. I think he was equally as excited about his Speed Racer napkin as he was about his presents! By the way, he has never actually SEEN Speed Racer, but that is irrelevant. Speed Racer is just cool whether he is on a napkin or on the big screen.
I love pool parties. Little kids in bright bathing suits, wrapped in bright towels, faces covered with pizza and cake – to me this is the epitome of childhood. Plus I get great action shots of kids jumping off diving boards and wearing silly goggles.
