Kelsey, Caleb, and Noah
The last time I saw the mother of these three beautiful kids, we were her daughter’s age - seniors in high school. This was rather disconcerting for me (and for my old friend as well, I’m sure). How quickly does time pass! We knew each other all the way through school because our last names were always right next to each other on class rolls and in the yearbook.
It was a pleasure to spend some time on a beautiful fall day with this lovely family. Kelsey is so photogenic, and without even a drop of makeup her beauty just shines through. I believe I saw Caleb smile once or twice (maybe three times?). I think he had fun even though I am pretty sure he was coerced to come. Admit it Caleb, I know you wanted to spend your afternoon sitting around uncomfortably in trees and changing shirts in a minivan. And Noah is just so sweet. He was so cooperative and indulged all my photographic whims, including wandering around in a vegetable garden, smelling herbs, wondering what the alien pod-looking plants were, and looking at ladybugs.
We did this session at the Experiment Station, for those of you who are trying to decide on a location for your session. It really is an awesome place to take pictures: flowers, trees, a pond, a gate, rusted bikes hanging from strings, branches painted bright blue, purple barbed wire coils, and plastic Christmas trees stuck randomly in the ground. Yes, truly.
Thanks guys, for a great session!

Only little kids get suckers at the end! Especially when I only have one left in my camera bag…

Thanks guys, for a great session!
