Merry Christmas to my family, friends, clients, and readers everywhere! I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you have given me this year. It has been a wild, exciting year for me – my first full year in business! Without all of you I could not have done it.
So to my husband who has been so encouraging, and who was the first to say that I should be a photographer and do what I love – thank you. To my two beautiful children, who are always my light and my inspiration to be a better person. To all the grandparents, who are always there for me and for their grandchildren, and who have always supported me in any endeavor. To my very first clients a year-and-a-half ago, who trusted me enough to capture memories of your children – thank you for believing in me. To all my new clients – thank you for allowing me into your lives and for being such wonderful people to work with. To all my readers around the world – thank you for connecting to this little blog. To all the other photographers I have met, online and in person – thank you for the constant inspiration.
Today I had the luxury of doing a Christmas session with my own two children. They were so sweet and even let me brush their hair, only you can’t tell with little Caroline. Her hair has such a mind of its own! But she loved her new outfit (I couldn’t resist it when I saw it at the store!) and prissed around in it all day long – she is even now sleeping in her sparkly shoes. William was wearing a sweater my mom made for him last year and I was so surprised it still fit – he has grown so much! For this session we just stayed at home in our own backyard, even though the famous steps belong to my neighbor.
