My Lemonade Stand Story Sessions will be held TWO DAYS ONLY May 18-19 at a soon-to-be-announced outdoor location. These 20 minute sessions will be booked throughout the day from 9-7. CONTEST INFO: The winner, selected by a panel of three photographer judges, will be featured in a large art print at the Carrie Prewitt Photography Art Show at the Bank of Jackson in March/April. The theme of this show is so cool, and I spend MANY hours working in photoshop on each image creating an amazing narrative portrait. The winner will receive a free photo session themed for this particular show, a free 16×20 print of the final image, and a gallery of other themed images available for purchase. What a neat opportunity!
In addition, there will be a Viewer’s Choice model who will receive a free regular mini-session and a free 11×14 print!
In the event that the winners are one and the same, the second-place Viewer’s Choice Model will win that prize.
I am looking for kids age 4-18 please. Past and current clients are welcome to enter, although no preference will be given to clientele. All entrants need to live in or near Jackson, TN or be willing to drive to Jackson for the photoshoot. PLEASE do not enter if you cannot get to Jackson!
HOW TO ENTER:
Email a picture of your child to me at carrie@carrieprewitt.com. Please limit the file size to Medium if it is a very large file. It is not required, but you may also include your child’s first name and age. I will email you to acknowledge receipt of your picture, so if you do not hear from me within a day you will need to resend.
I will post all the entries in an album on my Facebook photography page. Tell all your friends to comment on your picture – they must like my page in order to leave a comment. The image receiving the most comments wins Viewers Choice! Duplicate comments, comments by the submitter, or more than one comment by the same person are not counted.
I will post entries on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 6th at 9:00 pm. If you want to participate in the Viewers Choice contest, it would be wise to get your entry in by November 6th in order to collect enough comments to win. The final entry deadline is Friday, November 11th at 11:59 pm. Wnners will be announced on Monday, November 14th.
Models will not be selected based on picture quality, so don’t worry if the image itself is not spectacular. We are looking at the child, not your photography skills!
A minimum of 15 entries will be required to hold this contest, so tell all your friends to join! Now go dig up that favorite picture and send it in!
