Harrison
Meet Harrison, who at 5 months old is one of the happiest, smiliest babies I have ever seen. I was so glad to finally meet him, since I had to reschedule his session twice because of rain two weekends in a row. But in the end we were glad to have rescheduled, because between the initial date and the actual session, Harrison learned how to sit up!
I had so much fun playing with Harrison and watching him smile at his wonderful parents. We got some great images of him with the things that are most important to him: his favorite toy “Jacques”, a wooden rattle handmade by his grandfather, and a football. OK, so Harrison doesn’t know about football YET, but trust me, he will. He has already been to Oxford more times than I have in my entire life!

Lorne… (collective sigh)…
When I arrived at this session and 5-year-old Lorne opened his front door for me, I knew I was in for a treat. He is well-suited to his name, especially dressed in his western-style shirt and skinny jeans (I have to get some of those for my William!). I can just imagine when he is sixteen, with his handsome features, blonde hair, and blue eyes, as he introduces himself to a girl saying, “Hi, I’m Lorne,” and the girl fainting dead away. And if you heard his last name you would really understand where that poor girl of the future is coming from. But in the name of internet security, I will refrain from using it.
Lorne’s beautiful mom has hopefully had her new little boy by now (his name is Flynn! Yes, more unfortunate broken-hearted girls are in store for him too). She was due on the day we took these pictures, so I hope for her sake all went well and Lorne has gotten to meet his new baby brother. He was very excited about seeing Flynn for the first time!
So here is Lorne’s first introduction to the wide world of the internet. And moms, make sure you know where your daughters are in about 11 years.
Oh, and did I mention they are HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans? Here’s one for you, Dad…

Today was a wonderful day… Today I had the privilege of holding a newborn baby, only 6 days old. He is the luckiest little man in the world, having two beautiful parents who love him utterly and completely. Their love for each other and for their new baby is so sweet to witness, and I know they are blessed. I don’t need to say anymore - I will let these incredible images speak for themselves.
